The Vietnamese bread rolls is not called baguette in Vietnam. It is named as banh mi, the generic term for bread. Vietnamese bread roll is inexpensive and so widely available in Australia. We have made our very own Vietnamese bread rolls with our own recipe. Start from scratch by pickling the carrot and making the mayonnaise, then add crunch with fresh cucumber, coriander and chili. There a countless number of variations to its filling, from pates to cold cuts. The cool, crunchy salad marries beautifully with hot and spicy pork meatball flavored with fresh cilantro.
